47 Buttermilk Bend Trail

Hello everyone. It’s been a while since I tried to post a blog but I thought it would be fun to share a few of the places I’ve been since Kae & I returned to California. I suffered a bit of memory loss with my stroke in 2020 so I’ve forgotten how to use some of the more detailed programs on my computer so this is good exercise to get my brain working again.

The Buttermilk Trail is one of many trails in the South Yuba River State Park in Northern California and it is one of the most popular because of the springtime flower display and views of the Yuba River. This park is also the home of the recently restored Bridgeport Covered Bridge. So it was last April that my friend, Barbara Musser, and I took her dog, Bodhi, for a walk on the trail. It was a beautiful day the the blooms were fantastic!
